Brillo y Fantasía (2021) is an artistic duo formed by Lusesita and Sergio Mora, taking its name from a sculpture created by Lusesita in 2020. This title serves as a premise and alter ego for the duo, who merge their creative universes into one, celebrating their arrival in Madrid and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

Building on their joint exhibition “Now or Never,” presented at the Urvanity Art Fair in 2021, Brillo y Fantasía explores the concept that we are all co-creators of reality: we create and are created, observe and are observed. Their work invites audiences to immerse themselves in their collaborative universe, reflecting their shared personal and professional life. Both artists, real-life partners and studio companions for over a decade, inspire one another while maintaining their individuality, becoming “artist and muse” for each other.

Brillo y Fantasía is a manifesto for their artistic vision, aiming to deliver an electric current of light as an antidote to these dark times.
